1. The Service1. Die Diens

Padstalle ("the Service") is operated by De Brakke ("we", "us", "our") and provides website building, hosting, and discovery listing services for South African roadside stall (padstal) owners.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts under South African law. By subscribing, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

Monthly and Annual subscriptions renew automatically. PayFast sends you a confirmation email for every charge. You may cancel at any time via your padstal's admin panel or by contacting us.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

5. Your Content5. Jou Inhoud

You retain full ownership of all content you upload — including text, photographs, and business information. By submitting content, you grant De Brakke a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it as part of the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that all content you upload is accurate, does not infringe intellectual property rights, contains no illegal material, and complies with South African law.

6. Reviews & Visitor Content6. Resensies & Besoekersinhoud

Visitors to the Padstalle discovery map may submit public reviews of listed padstalle, including a name and written comment. By submitting a review, you confirm it is honest, based on a genuine experience, and does not contain unlawful, defamatory, or abusive content. Submitted reviews (including the name you provide) are published publicly and may be seen by the padstal owner and other visitors.

Besoekers aan die Padstalle-ontdekkingskaart kan openbare resensies van gelyste padstalle indien, insluitend 'n naam en geskrewe kommentaar. Deur 'n resensie in te dien, bevestig jy dat dit eerlik is, op 'n werklike ervaring gebaseer is, en geen onwettige, lasterlike of beledigende inhoud bevat nie. We may remove, hide, or refuse to publish any review at our sole discretion, including in response to a report from a padstal owner or another visitor. If you believe a review about your padstal is false or abusive, contact us and we will investigate.

You may not use the Service to publish false or fraudulent information, impersonate others, distribute spam or malware, sell illegal products, or violate any applicable law.

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, or circumstances beyond our control.

The Padstalle platform, brand, and all associated software and design are owned by De Brakke. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our written consent. Your content remains yours — our platform remains ours.

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, De Brakke's liability to you for any claim is limited to the total amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date above and notify you by email. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
